    Good morning everyone,

Yesterday turned out sunny and warm but today it is a bit dull.

Once I start feeling better later this morning I'll go out shopping and also get a haircut. Then if I'm feeling up to it this afternoon I shall do some mowing.

Oscar had an interesting session with Monty and I took a few photos which I'll post later. They almost always hiss and howl at each other and Monty is always making what appear to us to be very agressive postures but after yesterday I'm not too sure. I'll have to put it on the Pets thread to see whether they can answer some questions.

    Have a great day :D

Shiney, I do hope you start to feel better soon. What's this Monty been up to? Cannot have him upsetting our Oscar! Hope it ended all peaceable. :heehee: How did the bridge go by the way was it successful?:yess:

    Good morning everyone,

Once again it turned out sunny and warm yesterday and the sun is already trying to come up over the horizon. :sunny:

Didn't do the mowing as the mower wouldn't start . So I cut down all the runner bean plants and now have to clean and stack the 75 bean canes.

I'm feeling quite a bit better but still had a bad night. So I read, watched TV, popped onto GC occasionally and had lots of cuppas. A nice shower, followed by a fresh mango and some porridge should set me up for the day :dbgrtmb:. Then I'm off to sort out some things for one of the people I look after.

Yesterday I got a nice bit of shoulder of lamb (just a small blade half) for £2 and shall roast that tonight and have it with roast spuds and the last of the runner beans. Then it's off to bridge - for a change :heehee:. (Bridge the other evening went well :yess:)

What a lovely day it has been. Shiney, thanks for doing that link for me. They are lovely photos. I keep saying we should get a kitten for Amber to play with to keep her occupied as she does get bored easily. I end up taking her out when she starts to get into trouble but a cat to torment each other would be great. I think both cats and dogs get fun out of tormenting each other and that could be what Oscar and Monty are up to just for the sheer fun of it.:heehee:

    Good morning everyone,

A little bit nippy out there this morning but there is a warm glow in the sky and it will be a nice day. :sunny:

When I came home last night, just before my chariot was due to transform, it was already down to 6C.

I shall be taking Mrs Shiney to the station shortly for her weekend of studying in London.

My chest infection is gradually improving but it still gets bad at night and it feels a bit raw this morning. I think I shall pamper myself a bit, today. :)

I wanted to mow the lawn yesterday but couldn't get the mower to start. As I'm not very good at these things I have had to get the mower people to take it away and sort it out. It's been giving trouble for the last few weeks. They said I should have it back about Tuesday.

I finished clearing all the runner bean plants and stacking the canes and have a few barrow loads of leaves to clear from that area.

Our Pongo beans that we planted a month ago have given us our first crop and they were quite tasty :dbgrtmb:. They said they were fast growers. :yess:

    Have a great day :D

Morning Everyone, better late than never. I had a rose arch in the back garden. The roses either side were supported by a very cheap and nasty metal arch. I only paid £5 for it so I knew it wouldn't last long. The last lot of strong wind did the arch in and it has been collapsing for the last week or so. So this morning I have been out there with the croppers and cut both roses right down and broken the metal arch down into a black plastic bag. Might take a drive down to the tip in a little while. Looks strange out there now as though the back garden is no longer separated from the rest of the garden out there.

Hope Mrs Shiney enjoys her weekend of study and that you do spoil yourself over the weekend and get that cold sorted out, Shiney.

I am now going to sort the top of my wardrobe out and Amber is going to help me!!!

    Have a nice day everyone.
