    Morning Shiney and Loli:)

Shiney i must got to Specsavers as I quickly read through your post and thought you had written about going for the chinese to help Mrs Shiney celebrate her 95th.:mute::DOH: thought you might want to do one of these for her to save some pennies :bbq:Enjoy your crimbo and your sisters Birthday and don't forget to rest in between:)

    Loli,our dog was always bouncing around especially after she had had to go to the vets but I think your breed of dog is probably more prone to it:DEnjoy your day and enjoy Gardeners Question Time.I listen to it on Fridays at 3pm and quiet enjoy it.Pity I never discovered years ago{and the wee dram:D}

We have just been for our walk and saw on the grass round our woodland walk that we had a frost last night:eeew:and it feels a bit chilly round the ears :D

Goodmorning everyone. WOO I would think you could perch quite nicely on that merrygoround.

Congratulations to Mrs Shiney on her results. She is certainly doing well.

Kandy yes there is so much to do at this time of year but I have to admit I am well on top of mine. My decs and tree are up and I have sent all my cards and have received quite a few too.

Loli, hope Theo is still doing well. Amber is full of herself. Wouldn't know she had had an op apart from the shaven bits. and her long thin scar but that will soon disappear.

Kandy, I have backache but I think that is from my degenerated L5 and Amber pulling on my back nothing to do with the kidney stone which can lay dormant as far as I am concerned.

Have a great Sunday everyone. :)

      Good morning Woo and everyone

Lovely Autumn photo Woo and please don't get cold my friend when you are out in the garden working on those fence panels:)I am sure you would enjoy carrying those heavy bags for Mrs Woo as I know you are a gentleman and wouldn't want her hurting her back before the big day:D

Shiney,it sounds like Mrs Shiney has worked really hard at these exams and i bet wyou will be proud of her when she graduates plus it is something she enjoys doing:thumbsup:

Moira,I can't remember which one mine is that is playing up but mine is degenerating with old age and wear and tear and a bony spur has grown on it and it is that which presses on the sciatic nerve.Getting that new bed last winter has helped no end plus the physio I had done at the time.Just hope it stays stable and doesn't cause too much grief in the future:DGlad to hear everything is ok with the stone as well:thumbsup:

We have frost htis morning and had a bit of rain yesterday but no snow as yet but we do still have twenty days to go so might get some yet:heehee:

      Good morning everyone,

It's another sunny but chilly day :sunny:

      Lovely picture, woo :dbgrtmb:

Mrs Shiney thanks you all for the congrats. She's still got lots more to do and essays to write but she is very dedicated and always works hard at things. I think it's been hinted to her that she should graduate with no problem at all .

I think that will be something like her fifteenth qualification in therapies. :rolleyespink:

As we've been away for Christmas and New Year for at least 15 years it will probably feel strange to be at home. We're normally on our way by now to some exotic places to spend some time with friends or family as well as exploring. Even when we were at home we never put up a tree (but used to cut 15ft of one of our conifers and take it into work) and didn't put up any decorations (loads of them at work) but put up the cards we received. We always received over 300 cards so they were strung all round our lounge wall.

We did, eventually ask people to stop sending us cards and to give the money to charity. Which is what we now do. As we used to send out, or give, over 200 cards that left quite a lot for charity. :dbgrtmb:

It looks as though we shall have a busy Christmas whether we like it or not :heehee:

Keep well and have a great day :D

      Morning everyone.

WOO that looks wonderful place to start a walk. Have a lovely time I am sure the dogs will.

Kandy, probably the same L5 it's in the lumbar region. These are the ones which are more prone to it I think. Look after yours and I'll do likewise.

Shiney, Mrs. S is doing really well you have good reason to be proud of her.

It's certainly colder this morning and not going to warm up much throughout the day. Have a good one though.:)

      Good morning everyone,

Very frosty but the sun is shining :sunny:

I've just received some credit cards I didn't ask for  (two for me and two for Mrs Shiney). I haven't read the paperwork with them but it appears that one each may be a renew al of our Visa cards (fair enough) and the others are Amex cards, through the same provider, that I didn't ask for. I think I'll have a little fun with them on the phone this morning :heehee:

      Have a great day :D

Morning everyone, thin on the ground this morning. Shiney, they must realize that more and more people are giving up their cards. I have several I never use but haven't yet asked for them to be cancelled. I stick with the one generally or my own account debit card. It feels unsafe to keep them unused I ought to do something about them.

Loli, hope Theo is coming along ok. Amber is tip top now and don't I know it. :loll:

Kandy, hope you have a good day today.

Take care everyone and have a good day.:)

      Good afternoon everyone.

Been busy again this morning and have just stopped to have a bite to eat and to get ready for my appointment this afternoon at the hospital.

Moyra,we have a card each which we use but make sure we pay it off at the right time so as not to get charged the high interest but when Mr Kandy retires in a few years time we shall probably get rid of them altogether:D.Your Amber sounds like she is returning to her old self now:D

Shiney, good luck with getting your cards sorted and I am sure you will enjoy having fun with them on the phone:heehee:

We had quiet a sharp frost last night and the paths are a bit slippery so have to take it easy when out walking.I don't remember the paths being so slippery with frost when they used those big slabs when we were children and never seemed to hear of anyone actually slipping over:scratch:

Our skies are a bit grey but at least the sun is shining although there is a chill feel in the air.:D

      Enjoy your day everyone:)
