    Good morning everyone,

It was lovely and sunny all day yesterday but the parts of the garden in shade kept the frost all day. This morning those parts are still frosted but the rest is clear. The sun is coming up again :sunny:

Kandy, you two seem to be getting quite a lot done on the lottie :dbgrtmb:. I've not been able to do much for the last few weeks because of my back. I've had to get someone in to work on putting up the deer fence. He's put up the posts but needs someone to help him put up the wire fencing and stretch it properly. He said he may come back today if he can get his friend to help.

There's something not quite right about what happened. The ship has equipment to warn them if they are off course and they should have a lookout on duty at all times. Also, they didn't give the order to abandon ship before it had listed too far to launch some of the lifeboats. It was almost an hour before it listed that far.

Loli, it's just straight down the A1, on to the M11 and look for the Shineyland signs. Dead easy. :dbgrtmb:

    Have a great day :D

Loli,Have you put any photos up yet in the pet section of your babies? It would be nice to see them:)

Shiney we have a rat problem again in the sheds so have been putting in bait that Mr K gets from Wilkos and when i was sorting out my bags of leaves last week found the body of a fresh one in one of the bags so I think it had burrowed in there to die so had to dispose of that:eeew:Since more people have chickens on their plots we have had the rat problems in the sheds and i found two places at the back of the shed where they have knawed through the floor to gain access. If the chicken keepers were more hygenic in the chicken management we wouldn't have the problem. The chap on the next plot to us has one living in his compost bin as does my friend over on another plot. The chicken keepers make the money from selling the eggs but we are all the mugs having to pay out on rat poison to get rid of them:gaagh:

They were saying on the telly this morning that three people have been found in cabins so they are ok but last night they were saying that there are forty people missing. Some expert was saying that if there was an electrical failure then the steering would be affected but surely in a £400,000,000 ship there would be some back up system in place in case that happened.Have they never heard of oars:DI hope they have breathalised {sp}the Captain:D

Mr Kandy has an obbsession with pruning the fruit trees.I am amazed we get any fruit each year the way he attacks them although the wood is good for bonfires:DSorry to hear about your back problems and hope it gets better soon.I have shoulder problems at the moment and think i am going to go and see my lady about some Physio as heat pads and cold packs are not clearing it up and I need to be right for this coming seasons gardening:DHope you manage to get the deer fencing sorted so they don't keep noshing all your trees and plants:(

We are just off for our morning walk so hope you all have a good day:)

Do know I must be getting senile. I was sure I had posted on here today. Cracking up under the strain. Probably because I have the hospital tomorrow for my laser surgery on my eyes. I hope you have all had a good day. Shiney look after that back of yours.

Take care everyone and have a good evening. :)

    Good morning everyone

Moyra,Good Luck with the laser surgery this morning and hope that all goes well for you.:thumbsup:Is Steve taking you and looking after you when you get back home?:)My brother in law has had it done and he said they only do one eye at a time and had to go back some weeks later to have the other one done.I know what you mean about going senile as my memory is starting to fail but if I say anything to family, they just laugh and say it is because i'm getting older:(

Loli, your fur babies looked so sweet when they were little pups and in one way it is a bit they don't all stay that way and it is amazing how they change in looks and size as they grow:DA couple of my friends in the village have retivers, one called Poppy and the other is called Tilly and you could knit a jumper with the amount of fur they shed every day:D

Evidently it is going to get colder this week at some point and we are supposed to be getting snow by Friday:yahoo::yess::hapfeet: but it isn't going to stay long but hope it stays long enough to get some good photos of it:D

    Have a good day everyone:)

    Good morning everyone,

Moyra, good luck with the op today :dbgrtmb:. Will you be able to see your dreams better afterwards? :heehee:

I'm not sure whether my memory is working OK as I can't remember!

Kandy, our 10 day forecast shows some rain Thursday and Friday then very sunny until next Wednesday when there's a slight possibility of snow. So, as they always seem to get it wrong, you're probably right. :loll:

At the moment there is a very slight pink glow on the horizon followed by bright pale blue moving through darkening shades of blue as it gets higher.

This evening is the start of me seeing mortgage brokers for Tina. I think I'm going to need to do a lot of persuading as the amount that is owed on her mortgage is quite a lot.

    Have a great day :D

Nice spot Loli,Not sure if you are going to be around this evening but there is a Proffessor Brian Cox programme on the telly tonight called Stargazing Live on BBC2 at 8.30pm and if it is anything like the last one he did it will be well worth watching:)

Hope your cold doesn't break out as they are not very nice things.I have got rid of mine but still have the cough at times and when that starts to have to keep crossing my legs:heehee:

          Good morning everyone,

What I know about the sky at night last night is that it froze my car windows :(. I had to scrape the ice of them when I went out at 6.30 p.m. :rolleyespink: and then again at 11.30.

Things went quite well last night and I'm meeting her again this morning. There are loads of papers to check through in order to make sure things are done right - mortgage papers, divorce papers and settlements, savings, insurance etc - and then I can start working on getting the mortgage much cheaper for her. :dbgrtmb:

I've almost finished writing the quiz questions now and just need to check that the answers are definitely correct. I had a look online at some of the free quizzes you can download. There are loads of them and some are quite good. Unfortunately, some of the answers they give are wrong . That's the problem they get when they they rely on Wikipedia for their answers :heehee:.

Keep well and have a great day :D

          Good morning Shine and everyone,

I've been busy getting some ironing done and so have only just sat down to eat my breakfast:D

Shiney, hope everything goes ok with getting your friends business affairs sorted out.:thumbsup:There are a few rotten men in this world that leave their spouses with the task of having to start all over again, been there done that worn the t shirt. You jsut have to take it on the chin, start again but thank the Lord you still have your sanity left at the end of it:D

Wiki is oging down tomorrow for twenty four hours so that will stump a lot of people for their answers:D

Loli,I started watching the star programme but ended up falling asleep:sleep: so missed some of the bits when it started to get a bit boring:D

It looks like we have had another frost last night but it was not as heavy as the day before.I bet we won't get that snow now though:(

          Have a good day everyone:)
