    Good morning everyone,

We had some rain in the night but at the moment it has stopped but Mr Kandy says we will get more later. We had strong winds as well yesterday and evening but that seems to have died down as well for now.I want just enough rain to water the gardens and lottie so that it helps my greens grow into nice strong plants:D

Mr Kandy has been put on antibiotics whish he has to take for a week which should hopefully kills the bugs that are causing problems. The Dr offered Mr Kandy a test which men of a certain age can have but he declined as he wants to see if the tablets do any good firts before going down that route.Ah well it is his life so I just hope he doesn't end up with problems later on in life like one of his uncles had:gaagh:

Hope everyone has a good day and remeber itis only 61 days until crimbo day:dancy::yess::D

    Good morning everyone,

The sky leaked a little bit last night - but not much. It was only enough to stop Oscar from wanting to lie in his flower bed outside the kitchen whilst he waits for breakfast. He's perched on top fo the compost bags alongside the greenhouse instead.

Woo, thanks for the bright and cheery picture.

Kandy, it seems a bit silly for Mr Kandy not to have his test whilst he was there

I've got lots of paperwork to get through before opening the club this afternoon. We played the first match of the county league season last night and had a good win :yess:

I got one conifer done yesterday (which is the second one I've finished) and the third, and last, is the awkward one as it is not easy to get to. It has a stone bench in front of it (too heavy to move), a prickly shrub one side and a magnolia the other side. It's also the biggest one.

The sun is just coming out :sunny:

    Have a great day :D

Good morning friends. WOO thanks for the lovely tulips as you say the way time is whizzing round it will not be long before spring 2012.

Shiney, you mind how you tackle that third conifer. Well done on your latest bridge win.

Kandy, glad Mr. K has some anti biotics. You know what they say you can lead a horse etc.... he will have the test when he is ready, I guess.

    Have a good day all.:)

      Good morning everyone,

Woo, thank you for this morning's flower :dbgrtmb:

The horizon is getting very bright with this morning's sun :sunny:

No time today for gardening as I'm off at 10 a.m. to a bridge tournament that doesn't finish until late afternoon - they include a lunch for us. I'll get home in time to cook some dinner (have a nice piece of rib eye steak that was on special for £2 :thumb:) before going off to the bridge club. It's lucky I enjoy playing bridge :heehee:

      Have a great day :D

      Good morning everyone :)

We've got that geranium Woo and it is a nice one and flowers over a long time as you know:thumbsup:

      Shiney and Moyra,Mr Kandy is like other members of his family with suffering from the ostrich syndrome and will only get help when things get to serious.His sister though only has to have a tickle up the nose and she wants every instrument going putup there to try and find out what is causing the tickle:DAs they say there is nowt queer as folk{Hope I can use the word queer:D}

Sounds like you had a bargain with that staek Shiney:)By the time we get to the supermarkets all the bargains have already been grabbed and the shelves are empty and we are not the sort to pop in there in the early hours to get the reduced stuff:DEnjoy your bridge this afternoon and hope you don't get too bored:mute::D

We had a couple of rain showers yesterday afternoon which has watered the garden and filled up my barrel which was half empty but at leats that wind has stopped:happydance:

      Enjoy your day everyone:)

Kandy, I tend to get my meat bargains at Sainsbury's and I usually go there late morning or early afternoon. I'm in there about 3 times a week - I pop in when I'm visiting people or going to meetings - and usually only buying fresh stuff (apart from loo rols, kitchen rolls or Oscar food :heehee:).

Every so often the butcher there has some meat on special offer. This is usually Sainsbury's special offer and he gets in a lot extra and reduces the price on some of that. He knows I'm usually in there on a Thursday and keeps some out the back for me. The other week I bought a load of rib of beef, for the freezer, at £5.50 per kilo. The store offer was £10 per kilo - still a bargain. :dbgrtmb:

      Morning folks,

Shiney, I guess we can say that you have bridged your day completely!:loll:Well every good luck with your games.

Kandy, that must be quite a worry then if Mr. K is so obstinate. You must be a very patient person. :)

      Have a good day everyone.
