Well done, Moyra, you finally got a dry enough period in which to cut it. :)

On Saturday we went down to Rayleigh for the service and it only took 35 minutes :dbgrtmb:

You take the A130 towards Chelmsford, then A1114 into Chelmsford and along Parkway (A138 dual carriageway past the town centre) and then left onto the A1060 (signposted to Sawbridgeworth - I think). Then we're about 14 miles along that road.

Do you have a SatNav? I can PM you a postcode and more details if you like.

I suppose the time it takes depends on how fast you drive and the traffic conditions. It was 27 miles from my house to the church in London Hill.

No I don't have Sat Nav Shiney. We shall have to see if I can pluck up courage to do the run.

Have a good day everyone. :)

    Good morning everyone,

Moyra, I'll send you some more details. :dbgrtmb:

The pheasants (not the peasants :heehee:) were complaining this morning that one of the feeders was empty. So, at 6 a.m., I went out to fill it up. It was surprisingly mild at 51F :). After I had filled the feeder I looked up and there was a duck sitting on the roof of the house! The nearest pond is the village pond about a mile away.

I got a fair amount done in the garden yesterday and we sold a load of Aquilegias. Someone came round and bought three dozen (I think that was the amount but have already forgotten ).

    Lots to do today.

    Have a great day

    Good morning everyone,

After a warm, sunny, afternoon and evening we have a mild drizzly morning. I got quite a bit done in the garden after I got home at 5.30 p.m. Then I did some cooking ready for today as Mrs Shiney has friends for lunch. I then had my bread and water :heehee: and put my feet up.

I was going to do the mowing today but that's not possible now

    Have a great day

This is the poorly fox :frown: It's a bit sad.

Good for you lolli. Amber is mesmerized by birds especially when they refuse to fly away until she is right up close to them. Yesterday morning on our walk a cat had gone up into a tree when she saw Amber coming so Amber now looks up into that tree every time we go past thinking that the cat will still be there. Saw a lovely blue Jay this morning, no shortage of them about.:)

I have had to move the Sunflower seed feeder nearer the house as a squirrel family have commedeered it and none of the birds get a look in. It's right by my window and I can hear squirrels trying to climb up the wood surround so I can shoo 'em off straight away. I know times are hard for them too but I can't feed the whole lot AND birds too.
Hope you are having a good day. It has stopped raining. Its drying up :dancy: and Ive got 5 Salvias to pot up. Wheeee!!! :yay:
