    Good morning everyone,

Loli, sorry to hear about your chook :cry3:but at least she went comfortably.

We had a good day with our friends from HK and are now off to visit some other friends before going shopping .

I hope the strong winds drop a bit.

    Good morning all,
Thanks Moyra...and it's buisness as usuall for the the other girls...Ada has now promoted herself to top chook and is busy giving the others their orders:chicken:...
The weather was terrible overnight...a howling gale and torrential rain but it's all calm now:dbgrtmb:....lots of standing water though:frown:....we surely must be going to get some nice weather soon....it's wearing very thin.......the garden is looking lovely and lush though somewhat battered and the flowers are doing their best but the pleasure fades when you need to get wrapped up because it's chilly and put wellies on to have a walk around ....:frown:....
Take it easy everyone and take care:SUNsmile:

    Good morning Loli,
I have just waved goodbye to Maisee as she flew by on her way to Chook heaven. What a lucky, lucky chook - time to celebrate her life with you.....
OK ADA - you've got a hard act to follow. Don't throw yout weight around too much on your first day.
The wind is picking up again and I reckon the hanging baskets are gonna be grounded for while yet AGAIN:wallbanging:

      Morning everyone,

We had a little rain overnight, but its supposed to be HOT here today, they are saying around *100!!! This is supposed to last for the next few days too!!

I'm more or less home today, but i do need to drive up to one of the Mennonite farms and pick up some parts.

I plan on watering what the rain didnt get, and maybe do some weeding.

      Enjoy your day everyone.

      Good morning everyone,

We had a lovely day yesterday. The weather was perfect, company fantastic (we've been friends for 40 years but don't see each other all that often) and the light lunch went down very well.

We started with chilled cream of asparagus soup (done with coconut milk instead of cream). This was followed by a lovely smoked trout pate with salad - and ended with home made chocolate pots and/or apple crumble.
