      Aloha everyone,

It got a bit too sticky for me yesterday so I had better get some gardening done early today before it gets too uncomfortable.

We're still looking for someone experienced to help in the garden but so far the only ones that seem to know what they're doing charge £20 per hour. They're probably worth it but it's too expensive. They definitely need to know the difference between plant seedlings and weed seedlings as they come up in the beds.

I've got a couple of busy meetings this afternoon and need to do a bit of work beforehand so won't get too much done in the garden.

      Have a great day
      Aloha

      Aloha everyone,

Shiney, that's a shame you would think there would be someone willing to do a bit for half that amount. Obviously the guy cannot want the work or he would drop his price. Trouble there is such a lot of garden there for you to and Mrs S to do on your own. Especially to keep on top of it for your annual open day. I find my L shaped garden enough to done.

Have a good day everyone. Aloha:wub2:

Its starting to warm up here again, supposed to upper 90's to 100 by Friday, just in time for a long weekend!!

I was supposed to go to Toronto today, but thats now tomorrow.

I need to water and do a little weeding, and have a couple errands to do for Brad.

      So enjoy your day everyone.

      Aloha everyone.

Another hot humid day, have just had a coldish shower to cool me down and found the thinest of shirts to wear. Poor Amber is finding it hot and I think she ought to have a shower too but unlike most Labs she is not too fond of water. I think if we introduced her to some sea water somewhere I am sure she would like it. I haven't known a Lab yet who doesn't. Bet your boys love it Loli.

Shiney, hope you manage to get some more gardening done today but don't overdo things.

Have a good day all. Aloha :wub2:

Aloha WOO dear, Lovely to see you. Hope you are enjoying this weather and not finding it too hot and humid. I'm afraid we may be in for a bit of a storm but if it clears the air, that's ok by me. The poor dogs wish they could take their coats off of course but a shady spot is what they need. Do take care of yourself and takes things easy and have a good day

      Aloha:wub2: .

      Aloha everyone,

It has just topped 85F and still rising! So I'm sitting nice and cool indoors .

Mrs Shiney got loads of work done in the garden yesterday - she's the fastest gardener I've met :). She filled both our wheely bin and our neighbour's bin with aquilegias that were pushed down tight and the bonfire heap is also high with them. Other plants are being revealed as she works. :dbgrtmb:

If it doesn't rain soon I shall have to go and water all my 200 runnerbean plants.

      Have a great day
      Aloha

      Aloha everyone....
:phew: it's a sticky one....The storms we've had here today have cleared the air a little but the poor dogs are still suffering....It's odd Moyra but Theo is water mad...he'll even splash and lay in a puddle whereas Archi is not at all keen:dunno:
I've been nursing my neck all day as it's 'gone' again....i only turned over in bed this morning and that was it:frown:
Bet Shiney is still watering his beans:biggrin:
Hope Mr and Mrs Woo and the furry Woos are keeping cool:blue thumb:
      Have a good evening everyone:SUNsmile:

All done :dbgrtmb: - and did the courgettes, squash etc. At the moment they've only got male flowers on them.

I came in a little while ago and shall now go and have a cuppa, watch a bit of TV and do some reading.

      Sleep well

      Aloha everyone,

Loli, I hope your neck soon feels better. I know just how you feel. It's so frustrating to get so much pain when you haven't done anything . I can just be sitting at the computer or reading a book and suddenly I can't move my head! Then it's up to a week of pain for, seemingly, no reason.

Woo, it's good to see you getting on here more :dbgrtmb:. I hope you are gradually getting back into the swing. We've missed your cheerfulness and friendly guidance. :)

I've been out in the garden this morning and it's a chilly :WINK1: 62F with a lovely warming sun. The storms didn't arrive so I'm pleased I spent the time to do the watering. I may have to start on the rest of the garden.

I'm off for my regular visit to the chiropractor this morning.

      Have a great day

      Aloha
