    Aloha Everyone,

Thankfully a lot cooler this morning but alas we didn't get the rain last night either and my butts are empty so will have to 'to and fro' from the bathroom with a watering can. Could do without that but with the high wind drying things out don't think I have much choice.

Loli sorry to hear about your neck. I know it is strange how something can just click and you end up in pain, do hope the painkillers take it off.

WOO it is lovely to see you again. Your presence on here is always a pleasure. Hope you and your pets are managing to keep cool.

Shiney, glad Mrs S managed to get most of your garden done. Wonderful how quickly some of us women can work. Think that alas I have lost a lot of that ability now but still manage to get round my little patch.

Steve is going to Romford Dogs as a finale to their Darts year. So I haven't got to cook dinner tonight as he will have dinner there with the boys. I hope he enjoys himself.

Well I feel so much more comfortable today and I hope you all are. Have a good day all. Aloha:wub2:

      Aloha Everyone,

WOO it does sound heavenly and having seen pics of your garden I know it is. Loli we had a bit of sunshine here until I started walking Amber and then it quickly came over to rain and the wind is something else again! At least if it rains a bit more I shall not have to water the veggies.

Have a lovely day everyone, Aloha:wub2:

      Aloha everyone,

It's pretty warm and sunny but a strong wind is keeping it a bit cooler.

Woo, your garden must be a picture :dbgrtmb:

Loli, take care with your neck :)

Moyra, send the rain over this way :blue thumb:

We're interviewing gardeners this morning. As Tracy can't be with us anymore (family problems) we do need some help in the garden. We need to find someone with the right ability at the right price. Not so easy.

      Have a great day

      aloha

              Aloha, Woo and everyone,

It's a beautiful summer Sunday morning. I shall spend about an hour watering the beans and courgettes etc and then go off to the nearby town to visit their open gardens. There will be 20+ of them so I won't get round all of them. Mrs Shiney shall be womaning a stall at one of them and selling her glassware, knitting/crochet work and plants to raise money for our charity.

Yesterday we went shopping for a new satnav for Mrs Shiney as hers has lost its way. Then, after having done quite a number of cuttings of perennial geraniums (singles and doubles) we had a good afternoon and evening at my sister's house with some cousins.

Keep well and have a great day

              Aloha

Good morning Woo Shiney and everyone,

Hope that you are all keeping well.

Sorry,I havn't been around much but had a nasty fall over at the lottie a few weeks ago and badly hurt my left shoulder which the Dr says I have damaged muscle fibres so movement has been quiet restricted:eeew: Have been prescribed Codeine/Paracatamol + Diclofenac Sodium + i am having to use my heat pad and the Dr gave me a number to get some Physio but as per usual it is a long waiting time by which time my shoulder is feeling a lot better:dancy: Now to top it off I have a stinking cold so have a very painful sore throat and sound quiet croaky when i try to speak:snork:I have been told to keep the shoulder working so that it doesn't stiffen up,so this morning I have been out litter picking and filled one horse bucket and another half of one so now my part of the village looks all nice and tidy again Since I got mentioned in dispatches other villagers have come forward to tidy up other parts of the village so it will all look nice in the end.

We have the Olympic torch coming through the towns tomorrow and it would have been nice to go and try!! to see it but don't feel like going far at all at the moment:eeew:

All the pears have dropped off of the trees bar two i spotted, the plums are crap as well this year, and none of the seeds Mr Kandy has twice sown have come up.:frown: Our spuds are looking good though, the runner beans are nearly to the top of the canes and have flowers on some of them pluse we are just starting to pick the first Raspberries and doing well with the Strawberries despite the birds and wet spoiling some of them:frown:

Mr Kandy has been to the Wellbeing clinic in the village last Friday for his CBT chat and has two days off work at the end of next week but guess what, rain is now forecast yet again next week

Enjoying the tennis at the moment, what i have seen of it and the Murry game was pretty gripping last night although it didn't finish until just after 11pm:snooze:

Hope everyone has a lovely day and enjoy this beautiful sunshine while we can:spinning:
