    Aloha Everyone,

Thank you for the lovely picture WOO brightens the day up. Miserable here and I don't think it is going to brighten up today unfortunately.

I would be interested if somebody cared to show me how it operated and I would be more likely to use one if I was shown its capabilities.

I keep having funny turns this morning all swimmy checked my blood pressure that is ok. Cannot check my blood as my equipment is out of date. Oh well never mind if it persists I'll go to the docs.

Have a good day everyone. Aloha:wub2:

    Aloha everyone,

It's a lovely wet day today.

Woo, that seems to be a good sweet pea your having in your garden today :heehee:

Loli, my £2.95 phone may have some capabilities apart from making calls but I can't imagine what :snork:. I've managed to almost spend £1 on it this year.

Moyra, I hope your funny turns clear up quickly. :dbgrtmb:

    Have a great day
    Aloha

    Good morning everyone,

Its HOT here again, and no rain in the past few days, so we've been watering like crazy!!

Its supposed to rain though this afrernoon, so I'm holding off for now.

It was a long weekend here, yesturday being a holiday because on Sunday was Canada Day, so it was nice to have that extra day......so lots of bbq's for family and friends.

I have a few errands to do for Brad, and a trip up to the Mennonites for pick up some parts.........so enjoy your day everyone.

    Aloha everyone,

Yes Shiney if we don't get the extra rain promised. Still a bit swimmy when I got up this morning. I asked Steve not to go to work until I had returned from walking Amber just in case I had a fall out on the walk. I take my mobile phone with me in case. He told me not to take her but I said she hadn't been since yesterday morning and had to make do with using the garden yesterday. So anyway she got her walk this morning ok. He could have offered to take her but then I wouldn't get my exercise would I? or that is his excuse for not offering. :doggieshmooze:

Amber goes for her booster innoculations tomorrow. That year has come round quick. Well I hope everyone has a good day. Aloha:wub2:

    Good morning everyone,

Its HOT here today, already 90*, and its not even 7:30 yet!!! All week is supposed to be brutal.....i couldnt imagine not having AC.

I feel for anyone who doesnt have it, due to power issues, they said on the news here that Ontario has sent hydro workers into the U.S to help restore power.

I'm home today, and i plan on watering, and watering some more.....i did a load of laundry and the dryer is on, before it gets too hot.

So for anyone who is in the hot temps today......try and stay cool.

    Enjoy your day.

Aloha Everyone, Off to take Amber for her booster jab in a little while. She is not all that keen on going in the car but doesn't mind too much if I let her sit on the front seat.

Shall be glad to get it done and get back indoors am feeling a bit aggraphobic this morning. Wish I didn't have to go. Just as well it is only about 5 miles away.

Have a lovely day all. Aloha:wub2:

    Aloha, everyone,

Moyra, no need to worry about aggy as you'll have Amber with you to keep you company and agree with everything you say :dbgrtmb:. Make sure she wears her seat belt :WINK1:

Very warm and sticky this morning and I've done a load of weeding in the veggie patch, so am now giving my back a rest (kettle's on).

We had another gardener round for an interview yesterday (first one we interviewed said she wasn't experienced enough for our garden) and she seems much better. She's into permaculture and we have no objection to that with regard to our garden - within our constraints. Having walked around our garden she said that not only do we already do a lot of what she does but she has already learnt some things from us (and went off with a load of cuttings :heehee:). She'll be in touch qwith us about when and if she can fit us in. We have some others to interview yet. Although it's not an enormous amount of work for her (can't afford to much from our gardening budget) it is work all the year round and right through the winter.

It was funny yesterday. Mrs Shiney was watering the greenhouse with the hose and we didn't see Sarafi fast asleep at the back of a shelf behind some plants. He wasn't exactly happy with having a shower :heehee: but quickly shook himself off, acepted some strokes and scratching under his chin and then climbed onto a top shelf in the sunshine to dry off.

Yesterday was hot and sunny and today looks as though it's continuing in the same way.v The runnerbeans are growing like mad now and have grown past the tops of the canes and I'm weaving them into the string spiderwebs I've made across the tops of all the canes. It should form a green roof over the walkways in the plot - I hope.

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha

Aloha. Home again and glad to be so. Amber was as good as gold. They did her kennel cough while they were at it save me going back again and also means she can have them both done together next year too! They want her to lose a couple of Kg if we can get her to cut down a bit. But otherwise very pleased with her. What a nice clean smelling dog was the vet's remark so not sure how bad some dogs must be when they go to the vets.

    Aloha:wub2:

    Aloha Everyone,

Congratulations to Mr. L. on his 50th birthday Lolli. I know my son is 50 next year that tells of my mispent youth too. I was just 17 when I got married and Steve arrived just a couple of weeks before my 1st wedding anniversary. Where do the years go. Enjoy your meal tonight Loli.

I got soaking wet walking Amber this morning sounds like I was not alone! We are suppose to have about three days like this and two months rain in those 3 days. We shall all end up with web feet if we are not careful..........web feet does that mean we can use our toes to use the internet? Hmm was a bit weak wasn't it?

Take care and have a good day all. Aloha:wub2:
