    Aloha Everyone,

Well it is trying to rain out there so not sure which will win rain or sun. I phoned the doctors this morning and apparently all blood and urine tests are ok. NFA apparently. So what was causing the swimmy turns must have been my ears. I must admit it seems to have gone off over the last few days. Getting the ok on the blood tests must mean my diabetes is behaving itself which is a very good result.

I hope everyone else are all ok and Shiney you take care of that back of yours. Have a great day everyone. Aloha :wub2:

    Good morning everyone,

Good results Moyra, but what is a NFA,if you don't mind me asking?

Anyway, sounds like we are all busy at the moment so i haven't got time to write much today but will catch hopefully tomorrow:biggrin:

We had the most torrential ten minute thunderstorm last evening and the sound in our conservatory was deafening and i think the slugs and snails were jumping with glee as they so love the moisture :frown:

Have a good day everyone

    Aloha everyone,

It's a lovely sunny day and I hope to get a lot of mowing done. Then, if there's time and I'm feeling OK, I'll start on the privet. Nothing got done yesterday because of the rain.

I hope you are all keeping well - including all the furries :)

    Have great day

    Aloha!

    Good Morning everyone,
Hope your gardener comes up trumps Shiney,it'll be interesting to see how her first day goes:thumbsup:...go carefull with your back:dbgrtmb:
I know what you mean about the sound of heavy rain on conservatory roofs Kandy...when it's really bad on ours it sounds like someone is shovelling gravel onto it...ours is polycarbonate and we've only recently been thinking of getting it changed to glass and altering it so it's flat around the edges with a pod on top......(not a very good way of describing it)...but it would make it easier to clean as we could get up there and walk around the edge of it.....
Had a great day at the driffield show..the weather was lovely and lots to see as usuall...the animals especially:chicken:...didn't manage to get my trug as they only had the modern plastic ones and i prefer the look of the old hand made ones....i did get loaded up with plants though:dbgrtmb:
Rain here again this morning but i want to get these plants in...
Hope Penny is enjoying her lovely sss-u-n s-hine...look i'm even finding it hard to remember how to say it:heehee: but the words jet stream is rolling off the tongue easily these days:biggrin:
Hope the Woos and Moyra,Steve and Amber are all good today:dbgrtmb:
    Take care all:SUNsmile:

Its still hot here, and no rain again.....we soooo need a heavy downpour!!

I'm off to Toronto shortly, and then have to do some grocery shopping, and a couple other things.

      Aloha everyone,

It has just started raining which is fine by me as the garden is going to need watering before the hot weather starts tomorrow :dbgrtmb:

Woo, I wish you lots better :). At least your Osteopath got more movement in your back :heehee:

I've just spent two hours scrubbing the cooker, inside and out, and washing the backsplash, tiles and cupboards around it. It's a big cooker, almost professional size, with three ovens and eight hobs - which I try to keep looking as good as new. There's a much easier way of keeping it looking new - don't cook anything :heehee:

I'm off out shopping soon as Mrs Shiney is teaching tomorrow, so I've got to get food in for the students. Then tomorrow will be busy. I'll cook their lunch for them, do the washing up and then get ready as we have some cousins coming. Whilst Mrs S continues her teaching I'll be taking the cousins to an exhibition at some professional art studios in an old mill. The arts are mainly glass, sculptures in metal and wood, ceramics, tile work etc.

Then, in the evening, we're going to a soiree! (Ain't we posh :roflol:). This is an evening of piano music at a friend's house (big 14th century place) and they are raising money for the local hospice. Our friend is trained as a classical concert pianist and he a some pianist friends shall be playing for us. It's usually light classical and a lot of humorous pieces (with introductions to each one, so us plebs can understand what's going on) and they play solo plus, sometimes, two or three of them on the one piano at the same time. With three of them playing it can be pretty funny just watching them trying not to get in each other's way as they all play all along the piano.

I'll do some hoovering before I go out shopping.

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

      Aloha everyone,

WOO sorry to hear about your back dear. Do take it easy and I hope it eases off soon.

Shiney, you seem to be pretty tied up for the weekend one way and another!

Kandy, ment to come back to you yesterday NFA stands for No Further Action. which as far as my bloods etc are concerned that is pretty good.

Talking about the noise of rain Loli that was some burst rain cloud last night it just fell down in torrents. Thought it was heavy enough to rip my plastic greenhouse to threads so was relieved to see in one piece this morning.

Have a good weekend everyone. Aloha :wub2:
