Yawn Yawn, Wakey Wakey..!! MK 6..

Aloha everyone,

I was locked out of the site yesterday all day, got quite the withdrawal symptons. It was far too hot for me to be out in the garden. I overdid it on Monday with all the washing and everything so yesterday I was flaked out. Very pleased to find the web site back again this morning.

Shiney, your front garden is a picture now so it is going to be fantastic with even more colour. Shall have to wait to see next year! Well done Hannah!

Yep....you guessed it, its still HOT here and no rain, although we are "supposed" to get a storm later today, we'll see.

I have to do some shopping today, and do a couple deliveries for Brad.

Off to do some laundry, while its still cool (haha).

Well it was another beautiful day yesterday and we managed to get up to 79f which for us in the middle of blighty is really good Have got the pillows in the washing machine this morning as i like to give them a good wash when the weather is hot so that they dry nicely

Penny we are watching nthe new Ice Road Truckers and i see a couple of them have already headed home.Mr Kandy keeps wanting me to watch it but i have to peep over the top of my computer to see it as I don't like how close they get to the edge and those long drops

We got some rain overnight, its been steady rain, but i dont know if its enough to lift the fire bans, they say that we would need rain for 3 days straight for that to happen.

It's been very overcast here the last couple of days and quite cool but it has given the garden chance to get over the shock of a few hot days......I'd still like to see some blue sky again though....
Archi and Theo were struggleing with the heat so out came the paddleing pool...thats been keeping them entertained

Lovely photo Woo and i bet you and Mrs Woo are so proud of your Grandchildren after waiting so long for them

Yes this weather doesn't do a lot of good for our doggy friends and so many of my friends dogs in the village are suffering at the moment as they have long fur which must be like wearing a bear skin in this heat

Anyway, we have picked our first peas last night plus our first runner bean so Mr Kandy will have that tonight with his fish and chips plus peas

They say the weather is changing again next week but hope the rain keeps away because Mr Kandys niece is getting married next Saturday and we are both invited and she wants to walk from her fiances house down to the hotel where the wedding is being held so she needs it to be dry,although if it was me I wouldn't fancy walking through a housing estate and past shops in a full length wedding dress

Good morning everyone,

We had some more rain overnight, which we needed, no idea yet if the fire bans have been lifted though....and yep, its another warm one here.

I have a bunch of errands to do today, for myself as well as Brad, and need to pop into the liquor store, that should be fun since we have been flooded with Elvis's and Elvis fans, expecting about 75 thousand people this weekend.

We might walk down tonight or tomorrow night, have a beer and watch a couple of them preform.

Tomorrow is Natalie's bridal shower, so busy in the afternoon for that....my SIL was joking that an Elvis was going to show up...LOL!!

Need to get outside today and cut the lawn, been putting it off with the heat.

Woo i'd have love to have seen those pics of the young ones before i went to work that would have put an extra spring in my step....
At 8.12 am on the dot i was outside listening to the church bells ringing....it made me go all 'goosey'...a wonderfull sound.....don't hear it often enough around here for my likeing....
They sky has broken a little here....so we keep getting the old glimmer of blue....
