Aloha everyone, had to go away and regain my cool as I posted a long post and it disappeared and the site chucked me off so I was not a happy bunny! Now lets see if I can remember everything:

WOO, lovely picture my friend, hope you and your furry friends are doing ok.

Shiney, Don't give yourself another headache looks like you need a new multicuplet if they do such things so that you can just connect each hose into it. Your charity is doing well this year with all your beans and other contributions. Time you and Hannah got a call from her Majesty!!

Loli, poor Theo, he says mum don't call me Tiddles it is not very macho for a big dog like me..........secretly he loves it because it shows you love him. Hope he soon heals up well and you get to the bottom of his itching.

Kaz, lovely pictures. He's a bonny lad and has a lovely little sister too.

Looks like we may get some more rain today but try and have a good day everyone.

        Aloha!:wub2:

          Good morning everyone ,
I hope everyone is well today:dbgrtmb:
Moyra...Theo does look a tad embarrased when i call him 'tiddles' mind you so does Archi when i call him 'Archi Farchy'.... (i really should see someone)
The second lot of stitches are still in place:phew:.....hopefully Theo is learning......the vet put an extra 2 in for safe measure....
I've just noticed the Blackbirds feasting away on the wild plums....at the rate they are going i won't get much jam out of them this year...(the plums not the Blackbirds)...i don't mind too much but i'd prefere it if they'd get them from the top of the tree where i can't reach......
My dad will be here shortly to keep a watchfull eye on Theo whilst i'm at work:th scifD36:
Waves to all, take it easy and have a great day:SUNsmile:

          Aloha everyone,

Well, I finally got the hose sorted. It only took an hour and a half. Yes, Moyra, they do a multi :dbgrtmb:. I got a new three way one and some new connectors. In all, I had to cut three new pieces of hose (each about 1m long) remove all six conectors on the old three pieces (one on the tap and one each on the two hose reels and three on the three way connector), check each connector and throw the ones that weren't too good (most of them). Then disconnect the old hose at the reel, take off the click connector on the end of the hose (for the sprinkler or hand held spray), connect the hose new hose etc. The hardest part was getting the new hose wound round the reel. As soon as I unpacked it, it was wound tightly in a spiral, it tried to tie itself in knots. Anyone want 100ft of hose with the occasional hole or bubble in it? :heehee:

A friend of mine recommended that I get a card for a local trade wholesalers so I did that the other day. In theory, only businesses can join and they have to produce headed paper and I.D. before getting a card. It was fairly easy to get round that. They have an enormous variety of thing there but most of it is building, plumbing, electrical etc - like a DIY store. I bought a few hand things but also was able to get everything for the hose. I got the triple connector and a pack that contained two click connectors, one tap connector and a spray - total price £1.58 :rolleyespink:

I'll take it easy today as my back is a bit delicate after struggling with the hose. May do some mowing and shall, of course, pick beans. Mrs Shiney can do the bending to pick the courgettes. I might trim the edges of some of the lawns as well.

Loli, you'll have to use a firm voice with the boys to make sure they do what they should. I suppose they would then give you their innocent stare and you'll end up cuddling them :heehee:

Moyra, if you're going to do a long post it's better to type it in Word, or similar, and then paste it on here - just in case :)

          Still no rain here.

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

          Aloha Everyone,

Waves to WOO, Good to see you WOO!

Shiney, glad you got your couplets done in the end.

Archy Farchy? Loli where do you come up with these names. I must admit I used to call Chloe a lot of pet names, so far Amber has got away with Ambie or Am. Apart from being called Chloe on the odd occasion not so much now as I did when I first got her.

Well have a lovely day all. Aloha!:wub2:

Kaz, when I said it had the occasional hole I don't think I may have explained it properly. They are minute holes so instead as working like a trickle hose, when I was using the hose, they shot tiny jets of water about 30ft :heehee:. Great if you want to suddenly be hit by a fine jet of water that you can't see until it hits you.

                Good evening everyone,

I do hope you are all ok and are not getting too much sun or rain at this moment in time:biggrin:

I am still around, just very busy at the moment trying to catch up with all the lottie weeding and veggie harvesting/freezer preperation.I picked another two bucketsfull of broad beans again plus runner beans and peas so are having to get them done quick as we like to eat them as fresh as possible and freeze the rest for later on in the year:snork:

The wedding last weekend went off ok although the music was too loud and Mr K had an upset tum on the Saturday and then mine played up on the Sunday, but we are both ok now:snork:

As the weather is going to be nice tomorrow we are going out for a nice treat and might even bump into Diana's brother, but will see:biggrin:

Have a good evening and will see you all tomorrow:SUNsmile:

                        Aloha everyone,

Good to see you Kandy was wondering if the lottie was keeping you busy that and the prep and freezing of all the harvest. Shame about the dodgy tums but hope all is better now.

Shiney, see you are still very busy, don't go overdoing it.

Loli, hope Theo gets on ok at his check up and any news yet on the blood tests?

Thanks for the lovely cuppa Kaz.
