As I said on another thread despite all the negative comments from critics we absolutely loved it. Trouble is people make comparisons and you can't compare a film ( albeit a brilliant one) with a live West End musical . I still shed a tear when Grizabella sang 'Memories'.

 

Glad you enjoyed it @Upsydaisy. I would love to see it but as I am glued to this place all evenings and only venture out to walk the dog, it is hardly unlikely. Anyway homewise I am finally catching up with my tail. Have a good night all. God Bless. xx

Fingers crossed I will have a day at home today, just stripped the bed to add to the mountain of laundry waiting to be done. We are hopefully going to have a dry day tomorrow, so I'll get it all done ready and to go out first thing tomorrow. We do have a tumble dryer but it's way down in the garage, would get soaked trying to get to it!!!
Have to sort out 3 bedrooms ready for our 3 sons plus a girlfriend. I am hoping to do some more baking this afternoon. This evening is set aside to try to finish an infinity scarf that I'm knitting to go in a pressie bundle.

Yes @moyra I agree with @Flumpy, a good Christmas movie...I personally love the old black and white ones.....the world always seems perfect and peaceful!!, and of course a good cuppa and a mince pie....or two!

Hi Upsydaisy sounds like you’ve got a busy day ahead. I’m just wrapping presents right now then doing the hoovering. Try and fit a cup of tea in later or a glass of wine tonight

Laundry washed in readiness for hanging out in the morning...it had better not rain now
All housework upstairs is done and dusted, all bedrooms are ready and waiting for their occupants .

Baking is on the agenda in a moment.

All my wrapping is finished, the hardest one was wrapping my dads guitar it’s in a triangular box so took a full role to wrap it, just the hoovering to do now and I’m done, teas in the oven.

Right let’s crack open the wine.......... whoops best do the hoovering then the wine x
