@shiney I too stay out of the rain as I might melt.. ding dong...

It is a mix of sunshine and cloud today and the garden and lawns got a good soaking overnight so I have little to do out there. Still working on piecing together patterns here and it is relaxing. Cut, line up, glue, cut, line up, glue and repeat 60 more times. Totally brainless project. But next comes the fabric cutting and assembly. A little more challenging but will keep me out of trouble :)

              Aloha everyone,

It's one of the local horticultural shows today and Mrs Shiney has already gone to take her entries. They only just fit in her car. :phew:

              Enjoy this lovely day

Keep well and have a great day

                Good morning everyone
It is another lovely morning with mostly clear skies and just a few puffy clouds painting some contrast.

Got laundry in the washer and will be hanging it out shortly. A fellow is coming by around 10 to pick up one of my satellite receivers that stopped receiving to repair whatever ails it. I was shocked that they would come by to pick it up because I expected them to tell me to send it to them and include ounces of gold to pay for it's return!

Decided to get back to exercising. I do most of the ones in the RCAF XBX manual. I do not do the running in place or any knee unfriendly ones because I don't think they are age appropriate. I had stopped exercising back when I fell on my tail bone about 8 weeks ago and I can feel gravity having it's way with me again so I'm going to do all of the floor exercises on my bed so my behind won't start hurting again. Probably a little on the woosy side but it's a start.

Hope everyone is having a great day and plays safe :)
                Lori

Good morning everyone. @Upsydaisy just seen your asking about my knee, it's still not getting any better. Bad again yesterday and this morning. I'll rub some more volterol into it. Doesn't seem to do much good. Have a good day all stay warm and dry and above all safe and well.
                  God bless. :wub2:

Good morning @moyra and to everyone.

Oh dear Moira sorry to hear that you are still suffering with your knee, that's not good at all. What has your Dr said about it, have you been referred to see a specialist. Would be good to have it sorted before the cold weather sets in because sadly, dare I say it, that could make it more painful for you. My fingers are crossed that it won't though :fingers crossed:.

Well after our day out yesterday I had better knuckle down to some work today! :heehee:.

Another smashing day is on the cards for us today.:yahoo::hotsun:

Have a great day everyone!:blue thumb:

Not much to do apart from deadheading. I split up some of the sempervinums which had made lots of new rosettes.
Off out this morning and then a quiet day until four when we pick up two of the grandchildren from the watersports centre. After a day of windsurfing and canoeing they will be ravenous and tired (hopefully). I've got the swingball out just in case:smile:

                          Yawn yawn, yawn yawn
I spent until 2 a.m. at the emergency with a friend who had a bad fall and dislocated his shoulder. They had to knock him out to get his arm back into the socket. So from now and for the forseeable future, I will literally be his right hand. Except for loo duties. Not going there. He's got an appointment for cataract surgery today so I've got to get him washed up and ready for that. Then there's the follow up drops, appointments and now the visits to the orthopedic dude.

Should keep me out of trouble...

We had a super heavy rain last night with lots of light show and sound effects. Takes watering anything outdoors off my to do list :)

Have a good day all and please play safe!

                            Aloha,

I didn't quite make it on here on Wednesday (just gone midnight). Mrs Shiney swept the board, as usual, at the horticultural show with loads of firsts, seconds and thirds, best in show, highest total number of points etc. :dbgrtmb:

I'll see whether I can get a few piccies put on one of the threads.

We have three lots of guests over the weekend so I've now got to plan the menus . I suppose I could do the same thing each of the three days as they're three different groups. :heehee:

Keep well and have a great day

Congratulations Mrs. Shiney. I entered the photography section and got one first and two seconds so I was pleased. After looking round the Show when it was all set up I was annoyed with myself for not entering more sections. Always wise after the event:sad:

When I went to collect my photos at the end of the show they were giving away the prize dahlias so I took a few home. They are not my scene but the dedication and patience required to growing flowers as big as my head has to be appreciated.
