    Good day everyone
It's another sunny day and very cool this morning - about 52f. It will probably warm up to the low 70's and with sunshine, it will be perfect.

I have started some bread dough a la Shineybrid peppers all minced and added in. @shiney I think I will call it Shineybread and I will watch to see the consumers grabbing their glasses of water … :runforhills:

I've got the base for some vanilla ice cream in the fridge ready to churn today and will cook some caramel syrup to make caramel ripple ice cream. I'm also going to experiment with a recipe for gluten free pizza dough. I have an autistic grandson and the difference in his behavior by leaving gluten out of his diet is amazing. I already have a good gluten free pumpkin muffin recipe that he likes and am hoping to develop other lunch box items he will enjoy. Lots of things to accomplish before school starts.

I believe I had a very angry raccoon out on the back fence early this morning. About 4 there were some howls. Close to dog howls but more beastly. Sure enough when I checked the wiring, one had been torn loose so I repaired it and hope the invader learned his lesson!:heehee:

Best get into the kitchen and get experimenting now. Have a fun day and play safe :blue thumb:

Good morning all. Stop it! @shiney you are wearing me out before I have done anything this morning only half drunk a cup of tea. Have a good day all, try to relax a bit. I must walk Amber before it gets too hot.
      God bless. :wub2:

        Aloha everyone,

Morning @moyra :grphg:. I've finished my gardening for the day and did an hour and a half before 7 a.m. Sprinkler is on the veggies.

Today we were supposed to have friends round but they had to cancel so we're off to other friends who are having a lot of people round for lunch and the afternoon.

I'll put the dishwasher and the washing machine on soon, when the sun has got a bit higher and is charging our solar panels a bit more - freebie power .

Keep well and have a great day

        Aloha!

            Good day everyone
I've got a full day ahead of me. Lots of digging and transplanting and a client coming by as well.

Have a super holiday (it's not a holiday here, we have ours next Monday) and play safe!

                    Aloha everyone,

It was too hot here yesterday and reached 34C in the shade in our friends' garden. We have another day of it forecast for today. The garden is suffering quite badly from it and although I'm moving the sprinkler around the garden there's too much to do, so some of the plants are dying.

I've had the sprinkler on since 5 a.m. and the blackbirds are loving it. Two of them followed me when I was moving the sprinkler and were instantly running in and out of the spray. Five minutes later there were eleven blackbirds doing it :blue thumb:. none of the other birds seem to do that.

                    Another busy day here.

Keep well and have a great day

                    Aloha!

Thanks @Flumpy and @Verdun for your kind birthday wishes I have passed them on to my Dad, and they were greatly appreciated.:)

Wow ! What a great weekend we had!

Had to give the poor garden a good soak last night, once the sun had gone down and the temps were cooler.

We have another sunny and hot day today as well ,temps hitting 28C , slightly cooler!!

@Upsydaisy , best wishes to your dad on his birthday. Had my dad not died when he was only 50 he would have been 103 today, it was also my parents wedding anniversary. Where do the years go? So fast too!

Aw thanks @moyra, yes he's now in his mid nineties and a cantankerous so and so, mainly I feel due to his frail body holding him back from doing the things he loves, despite moaning about him ...he's my Dad and I love him with all my heart!:wub2:

Years fly by so fast don't they, it's very scary.......but hold on to your treasured memories Moyra they are priceless!:)

                                Aloha everyone,

Drizzling here :) and it's the first bit of wetness from above for ages.

Yes, time goes so fast. Both my parents had a good innings and died at 89 but that was ages ago. Dad was born two centuries ago (makes it sound even longer that way :heehee:) as he was born in the 1890's. Mum was more modern as she was born in the twentieth century. Her birth certificate says 1913 but we know she was born at least a couple of years earlier than that. My grandfather (father's side of the family) fought in the Second Anglo-Afghan War in the late 1870's. :old:

Keep well and have a great day

                                Aloha!
