When..... You send the same post twice! He he!

 

When you know there's a right way and an wrong way up to use bog roll tubes for seed sowing

When you wake up after having put your seedlings outside into the greenhouse for the first night, and you are really worried how they're doing.

 

When you put 5 max/min thermometers in your greenhouse overnight to check minimum temps 1) on low staging, 2)on low staging on heated propagators, 3) on high level staging, 4) in light box and 5) on the floor so the heater can be set correctly before putting any seeds/seedlings in there.

 

When you see your first seedlings appearing & you are more excited about that than you are about going to a party at the weekend...or is that just age?

 

When you're out, or at work, on a beautiful warm sunny spring day and you spend half the day worrying about those trays of seedlings in the greenhouse at home, hoping they don't dry out too much.

 

....When you get up in the morning to cut down a nigra bamboo, then spend the whole day gardening.... I bought a good few bags of innes no3, planted up 6 planters with geraniums, trailing and standard, million bells, went to the garden centre to buy a 2 more CIDPs', and seen some Gerberer's on offer, so bought them, planted them up, fed the boos, cleaned the patio area, washed down the furniture...it's now 9.30pm and them makes 13 hours solid in the garden.... I'm knackered.

 

When your post's delivered and consists of:

A plant from a fellow GC member.
A parcel of plants bought online
A separate online seed order
My Wyevale Gardening Club mailing

Then you get a text informing you that your ebay gardening purchases are ready to collect from Argos, and the one I choose is in a Homebase just to make it a bit more iteresting, especialy as a Wyevale is just up the road and there's a Wilkos in between them, plus a construction site putting out pallets, boards, timber, etc. for anyone to takevaway.

 

When you are going round The Colosseum in Rome for the 1st time and spy a wild Iris growing out of walls. Start waxing lyrical about it to your companion who looks at you as tho you have 3 heads as they are trying to listen to the guide who is explaining about the incredible architecture of the structure we are standing in!

 

I'm doomed as thanks to you @Scrungee I too have the knowledge

 

...When you are weeding a flower bed, and think "must be about 5.45, need to start cooking tea at 5". You look at your watch, see it is 5.15, and still do another 15 mins...
