Got loads of bell peppers to germinate and then promptly managed to kill the lot. I think I over watered them. Hey ho always next year. Reading that some of you have had trouble with Carrots, WELL mine are great yippie! I bet they are the only thing that are better than you experts. Don't get me wrong there isn't many straight ones but they have grown really well and taste completely different to the watery things in the shops.

Ah, another Gazania graveyard here too. Usually flowers like mad and thrives on neglect, this year it flowered really well for a month but the foliage always looked rather wimpy and now looks like a deceased Gazania. They are short-lived I think, so perhaps ...

Coreopsis Early Sunrise - like Coreopsis but this is like any other that I've tried to grow. Look fit and healthy in spring and then start flowering handsomely and then suddenly fling themselves about in self-decapitation mode. The stems are fairly brittle I know so try to spoil them a bit but they always manage to commit suicide on me.

        Squash - enough said!

... and my worst one Centradenia Cascade, you can hardy see it amongst the Oxalis and even a Dichrondra looks strong by comparison:

As mentioned in another thread, some fern plugs I ordered in spring haven't done well at all.

Also got some scented Pelargoniums a few months ago.
The ones in the ground have done well
But the one in a pot by the front door has died

I'll try over-wintering a Dichondra in my greenhouse Harry.

                      Couple of things for me...

A miniature buddlia which turned out to be anything but miniature.

Gazanias for me too, maybe the weathers been a factor, had flowers but they have been quite pathetic.

Zinnia. Maybe a but premature on this one, no flowers yet but the plants finally seem to be moving.

Convovulous cneorum. Flowered beautifully, but then the leaves turned beige.

Mine is Nasturtium 'Phoenix'. Half of them weren't Phoenix-y at all, just normal nasturtium and, contrary to the photo, not a single one was red. Orange or yellow and that was it. Guiltily, I got rid of the lot because I don't want any orange or yellow in the garden (not cos I dislike them, just because I want a specific colour theme).

Oh, and Papaver somniferum 'Black Single'. Looked absolutely amazing, stunning. But they weren't singles. I suspect my seeds were just the peony flowered alternative. Single was important to me as I want to be as pollinator friendly as possible. Next year!
