I've always got one plant or another which I'll see somewhere on the internet or in a book or TV and think to myself that I've just got to have it (I get these impulse's daily:D) my current fixation is with Camellia japonica 'Bokuhan' with it's beautiful paeony centres and lushes red petals:p and it got me wondering what everyone else's current fixation plants were?

But after about three attempts, I'm on my last chance.

I've always wanted a magnolia. I've had a stellata and a Susan but they don't do well with me. The Susan lives on but after about 6 years it is only about 30 inches high:(

I would love a big magnolia in the garden.

I'd love one too UJH, but my garden is to small.:( They seem to do well in my neighbours gardens, and we tend to have acid soil in this area. 02

Jee, so many whishes, i will have to think about it... :) Colocasia "Black Magic" is one wish... blooming cherry "Ukon" has been a wish for a long while... Hydrangea serrata "Shikidanka" an H. arborescens subsp radiata also rak rather high. Tetrapanax papyrifer is a long time wish that will soon come true :) Then i have a seed wish list as long as my arm, but those are more easily satisfied! ;)
