            Thanks Charlie.

I didn't post any photos from last summer as I wasn't very happy with the layout, plant spacing etc but I've just been through a few pics and it wasn't that bad.

From a wildlife point of view, it's working well, I've never seen so many different type of bees, and there is always a butterfly around.

                        Looking great @**Yvonne**

I think , a worker Garden bumblebee Bombus hortorum, difficult to tell from the side shot but its white Bottom :snork: gave it away , plus the band of colour around its thorax , if it was lower (band ) down it could be a worker White- tailed bumblebee Bombus lucorum

both being regular visitors to gardens. Plus the flower it is feeding on has deep tubes and both these bees have long tongues especially made for the job to get hold of the nectar .
So deffo one or the other

Hope that has sorted that out ,[IMG]

Looks like you have your work cut out for you.

If your looking to encourage bees, have you considered a Bumble Bee Hive?

                          http://www.dragonfli.co.uk/bees/beepol-garden-hive

I would love one but at £75 a pop, and only last the 1 year, I think its a bit steep.

Hi NCFCcrazy - All the work is done now, thankfully and all the bees turn up in droves, for free. It's all about the right plant choices, Hyssop is the latest addition which is proving very popular.
