    OK, Dahlias are not annuals, I agree, but that doesn't mean they must be Zinnias.

    Agree, but in some gardens and areas they don't survive the winter so some people think they're annuals. :dunno:

      I've got a feeling that what ever they are the crinkled leaves and the purple staining are normal for that plant.

        The crinkly leaves do look very healthy. We need a crinkly leaf plant expert to ID them.

          The plants look ok to me too. If anything, showing signs of heat stress, to my eyes.
