          Hola Victoria and Upsydaisy, it’s cold here but the sun is out and the sky is blue, so I’m finally going to give my new lawn it’s first hair cut :) now I’ve charged the lawn mower batteries, then either start painting my greenhouse (weatherproof paint) this time or start painting walls inside......... think the greenhouse first while the weather is dry :dbgrtmb:.

          Vicky what’s the weather like in Spain?

            [IMG] Flumpy. I wouldn't know as I live in Portugal (Algarve) :heehee: but we are about 1-1/2 hours from the Spanish border. We are about 20c with sun and cloud and would imagine Southern Spain is similar, maybe a few degrees warmer as they are nearer the Mediterranean and we are on the Atlantic. I have just come in from pottering outside, planting a few seeds (Tree Tomatoes / Tamarillos) and Giant Granadilla (Passiflora) and repotting a little Hamelia patens (a California shrub). I shall go back out after lunch (boiled egg and toast).

            Have a good day in your lovely new garden.

              Ho sorry Victoria, slipped up there didn’t I...... the Temprature sounds just right in Portugal :spinning:. I’ve just cut my lawn and also put my new solar fountain in our pond, it’s only small but the sound of water is relaxing after a crazy week :coffee:

                        @CanadianLori

                        Love your painting. My cat is called Obi (a hand-made critter) whom I bought on holiday when we stayed in a castle in Obidos (one of the rare completely walled cities). Silves (our County seat) is only partially walled now). His head and tail bob in the wind/breeze. :heehee: We had a suite in The Tower in 2009 ...

                          Now I'm probably wrong but it could be a variety of this

                          I'm not sure if this is what you have, all I know is my parents had a huge one in their garden and all I did was to occasionally removed any tatty blades.

                            @Flumpy if I were you I would go to Garden Planting Discussions then scroll down to the Other Plants thread and post you pic and question there.
